Presidential Folder 4 Panel - Volume II Holds P&D Mint Marks. In December 2005, Congress approved the creation of a new dollar coinage, known as Presidential dollars, and President George W. Bush signed the legislation into law shortly afterward. During each year from 2007 to 2016, four different dollar designs, each bearing the image of a different president, are being released. Living presidents, both current and former, are excluded from the program?thus the roster of presidential honorees currently stands at 37. For these presidents, 38 coins are planned; this is because Grover Cleveland, who to date is the only president to serve multiple nonconsecutive terms, will be represented with two coins. The Presidential dollars are part of the Golden Dollar Program and retain the same golden color as the Sacagawea dollars. The motto IN GOD WE TRUST appears in edge lettering?a first for a U.S. coin, as the motto has never before appeared on the rim. The year of issue is likewise on the rim. Folder Size 7" x 9.5". 44 Openings - 4 Panels.

BRAND NEW COLLECTOR'S ALBUM-DISPLAY BOOK FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL DOLLARS 2007-2016. (NOTE - COINS NOT INCLUDED) Get your Dollar Coin Albums here while they last! These albums will fit nicely on most any bookshelf and measure approx. 7 3/4" x 5 7/8" each when folded. The first 3 panes are designed to hold four Presidential $1 coins per year they are released from 2007-2016. The 4th pane is a paper flap with information on US Presidents in the order that they served in office along with the dates of their birth and death. Inside the album it has the year for each series of coins over each row of holes and then over the center of each the holes has the President's names and the years they served in office. The issuance dates for the first 38 presidential dollar coins are certain, carrying us until the year 2016. How many new presidential coins that may be minted beyond that is dependent on the number of living former presidents who die prior to 2014 because in order for a president to be on the coin he must have been dead for at least two years prior to the minting. The United States is honoring our Nation's presidents by issuing $1 circulating coins featuring their images in the order that they served, beginning with Presidents Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Madison in 2007. The first dollar coin was released on Feb 15, 2007. The United States Mint will mint and issue four Presidential $1 Coins per year, and each will have a reverse design featuring a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty. These coins will have the inscriptions for the year of minting or issuance, "E Pluribus Unum," "In God We Trust" and the mint mark around the edge of the coin instead of on the front or back. The size, weight and metal composition of the new Presidential $1 Coin will be identical to that of the Sacagawea Golden Dollar.
