![]() | Ecuador Pasto Two Reales 1822 |
offer US $250.00
This Pasto two reales was struck in 1822 in Gran Colombia under the rule of Ferdinand VII of Spain. Considered the first coins of Ecuador, our specimen grades fine, which is about as good as they get for the issue. The bust of Charles IIII is featured on the obverse of the coin even though King Ferdinand VII had been ruling for the past fourteen years. A very important historic specimen for the advanced collector . . . difficult to locate!!!! (Images may be enlarged or reduced. The size of this coin is 26 mm.)
