Very nice looking coin and cash bank. 3.5 long and about 2 high. Has slot in one side to place coins and hole in other to place rolled up bills. This is a very unique keyed bank that was probably given to valued customers at Christmas. I made a key as original key is missing. Nice chrome finish with brass plate on front. Left side has 4 sharp cracks, that dont show to the front very much. Priced appropriately. The bottom has the name Carol scratched gently near the dollar bill hole with MFG name: Homesaver pat. appd for bankers utilities co san francisco usa B Has a neat carry handle.

These were in a “boxed” lot of items I bought here in Maine at one of our local auctions. I’m sorry to say, I really don’t know a thing about them, how old they are or how you collectors determine condition. I loaded it up with photos of all sides, please supersize the pictures to get a good up close shot for the best way to determine condition. I don’t know how to open them, but there is money in each one, one registers $1.40 the other I can’t tell, feels about the same. The condition is not bad really, one is better than the other, but overall I think you’ll like them. They are very dirty, I didn’t know what to clean them with so I just left them as found dust and all doesn’t help make them look good in the pictures but I think you’ll appreciate that I left them alone. Their little pull down things seems to work fine. There is some metal discoloration, lots of use/age related scratches, dirtiness and as stated above the one has its number out of whack….but they’re not too bad really. Wish I knew what was inside, that always drives me crazy not to know. Let me know if I missed anything. The size is 6 ˝” x 4 ˝” by 5” deep.
